Treaty annuity payments are paid annually on a national basis to registered Indians who are entitled to treaty annuities through membership to bands that have signed historic treaties with the Crown.
Each fiscal year the federal government administers treaty payments to Saskatchewan First Nations individuals who are members of First Nations which are signatories of treaties 4,5,6,8, and 10. This involves payment at events throughout Saskatchewan including Treaty 4 in Fort Qu’Appelle and urban treaty days in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert
